Sitemap Generator Forum

A fresh download and reinstall 8.1 with manually configuring settings identical with the co-existing 8.0 installation finally has page crawls matching up with 8.0. There is, however, a problem with the image sitemaps.

There are 5 less images crawled with 8.1 than with 8.0. I cannot figure out why there's the discrepancy but have returned to 8.0 as my go-to with my server's cron job until this can be figured out.

Any clues, folks?

URLs are those associated with Simple Machines Forum messages which are hosted on the domain local to the forum.

I took both image sitemaps and loaded them into a file comparison utility and it appears 8.1 isn't picking up all the URLs with images in spite of using the same exact settings. It appears the "missing" links in the 8.1 image sitemap are indeed still crawled correctly in the 8.0 version. It's perplexing why the 8.1 version is only missing 4 out of the entire group.
