I could not get the generator, to genrate maps, with fairly basic config. (Server time out ). My php.ini file is generous as it had to be for various other reasons.
All that needed to be done: changed the advanced settings/crawlers rules , max exec time to 0 (unlimited), mem usage to 1500. basically matched the php ini. It took close to 10 minutes much slower than the free online scripts. But it does dig deep and generates a ton that free genrators seem to skip. over 1000 pages, nicely done! add: no need to downlload, rename, copy and paste whatsoever. they are genrated in the home directory ready to do. login to google search console (and bing), and just submit the new maps. I do not use auto or cron, this way i can see what happening first hand and it takes few minutes.
