Sitemap Generator Forum

Hello,
after trasfert domain on siteground,
if I try to create sitemap,after about 60 second i received error:Gateway Timeout

The support of siteground say:
"The method that sitemapgen uses to generate the sitemap involves crawling the site which can take some time, unfortunately the max execution time on the shared servers cannot be increased"

How can i solve this issue?

Hello,  in this case I would recommend to run generator in command line if you have ssh access to your server.

Please provide working ssh command to run php. Im using CentOS.

The command line is displayed on Crawling page of sitemap generator and looks like:
php /path/to/generator/runcrawl.php
