Sitemap Generator Forum

I successfully installed the program and ran it and got a few errors having to do with permissions.  My hosting company sends an error message, 261, of them emailed to me when 777 is used. They prefer 755 as it is safer.  Will this work with 755?  Also they prefer 755 on directories and 644 on .php files. Will I have problems if I switch to these settings? 

Further,  I ran the program and it stopped due to an error.  It asked me if I would like to resume and when I click yes and hit run a very quick error screen comes up too fast for me to read and the screen goes back to the crawling page. So now I am unable to resume my sitemap.  Please advise

you should have 0777 permissions for data/ folder to store resutling sitemap files and 0666 for config.inc.php file to be able to save settings via Sitemap Generator interface.

Changed the settings but still getting the quick error screen under crawling tab. So fast I can't read what the error is.
