Google Sitemap Generator Plugin for Wordpress?

Hello :D
I would like to use the Google Sitemap Generator for my Wordpress blog, however I am not sure how to do this beings as the step by step instructions that I followed told me to add the meta tag to my sites home page before the <head> section.

I don't know where to go to do this beings as I am using wordpress....I only know how to upload plugins through wordpress by uploading the .zip files.

Could anyone explain this for me?
