Sitemap Generator Forum

When I review my sitemap at [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ] it says <changefreq>weekly</changefreq>
My sitemap generator has the sitemap entries attributes, Change frequency: daily?
Why is this not displayed in my sitemap?
