Sitemap Generator Forum

Hi. Good Day.

I have just upgraded to ver 6.0 and run the crawler again.
When I check the result using the validator I get these warnings:

1. Missing "charset" attribute for
"text/xml" document.
2. No DOCTYPE found! Checking XML syntax only.

Do I need to worry about these warnings? If so, how to fix these?

sitemap is correct, since sitemaps specs to not contain DOCTYPE and charset:
[ External links are visible to logged in users only ]

Please tell me more about this warning.
Missing "charset" attribute for
"text/xml" document.

Charset attribute is not required according to sitemap protocol.
