Image Sitemap from href-attributes

Hi,

is it possible for the crawler to use the href-attribute of link-tags (<a>) to get the imagesource?
There are a lot pages with lightbox-scripts (JS) in order to show full format pics. I would like to have these pics in my images-sitemap. At the moment i have to insert an <img>-tag with the src of the big picture and width ann height of 0 into the code in order to get the crawler's recognition.

Would be better code for the website and alot lesser work for me if you could train your crawler in this direction.

Hello,

according to images sitemap specs, the images must be embedded on page, not linked from the page.
