Sitemap Generator Forum

Hello,

   I have installed the standalone version according to the instructions, configured it, and when I go to the crawler page, it will stay at 54 pages. This is exactly what will show for hours after crawling has started:

Links depth: 1
Current page: history/World-Canada.html
Pages added to sitemap: 54
Pages scanned: 80 (7,294.2 KB)
Pages left: 10 (+ 10120 queued for the next depth level)
Time passed: 0:00:04
Time left: 0:00:00
Memory usage: 5,338.1 Kb

I read some post and according to them, it could be a time issue with php.ini but when I contacted technical support, this the answer I get: "Are you referring to the max_execution_time? Please clarify. Basically, the max_execution_time set on our server is 50000."

Please help as I have no idea what I am doing.

you might also increase "memory_limit" setting in PHP configuration (php.ini).

   Thank you for answering. I am hosting with 1and1 and I am not sure If I can modify php.ini as I cannot locate it. Is it something that I should ask them to do or create a php.ini file and upload it to my directory.
