Sitemap Generator Forum

I have everything set up as shown in the directions but I have a question about creating the files.
Since I am sure it is going to create multiple files how should they be named?

sitemap1.
sitemap2.

The same question for the GZ, the image files, the news files, the mobile files and any others that I need to create?
How should those be named and what is the sequence of those files?

Hello,

sitemaps will be named as:
sitemap.xml
sitemap1.xml
sitemap2.xml
etc.

in case if gzip option is enabled, names will be:
sitemap.xml.gz
sitemap1.xml.gz
sitemap2.xml.gz


similar for other sitemap types:
sitemap_images.xml
sitemap_images1.xml
sitemap_images2.xml
