sitemap generator and javascript

Must the results of the sitemap generator, been placed in the javascript of the page? Or do I just place them on the page sitemaps.xml. Google does not see my sitemap.

You should upload sitemap.xml file to your server and submit in google webmaster account: [ External links are visible to logged in users only ]
