Hi,
Just checking. If I change settings during a running crawl. Are the settings going into effect when the crawl finished, after an interruption or during the crawl.

My crawl is allready a day in progress (many pages) but still a lot to go so I changed the exclude extensions but I guess I have to interrupt the crawl for the new settings to go in effect.

Or do I need to stop the crawl and start again? If so how do I stop it?

Hello,

the changes will take effect when you start generator next time (resuming the process or stasrting from the scratch). Note though that any URLs that were already crawled and added to the crawl queue will still be there, they won't be affected.
If generator is already running, normally there is a link to stop it when you open the Crawling tab. Alternatively, you can manually create empty file via ftp named "interrupt.log" in generator/data/ folder.
