please create a new file with name "sitemap.xml" (or "sitemap.xml.gz" if you have enabled gzip compression in Generator Configuration) with any content (or empty, i.e. 0 bytes in size file). And upload it to your host.
This step is required because it is usually not allowed by server configuration for the php script to create this file in your web documents root.

I'll try to provide more detailed explanation for you

1. Check the email message sent to you after purchase
2. This email contains the link to download the script
3. Click this link and store the zip compressed file to your PC (to the folder of your choice)
4. Open the saved archive file with archiver software you are usually using (like WinZip) and extract all files and folders from it
5. You should get the following files extracted at your PC after that:
documentation.html
license.html
sitemap.html
config.inc.php
index.php
runcrawl.php
changelog.txt

data/ (empty folder)

pages/style.css
pages/sitemap_tpl.html

and 21 more PHP files in pages/ folder

6. You need FTP software to upload the files to your host (most likely you have one that you use to update your website)
7. Open this software and connect to your host
8. Switch to the remote folder where your documents reside (usually public_html/ folder)
9. Create new subfolder at your host with "generator" title
10. Open the newly created folder
11. Upload all extracted files to the "generator" folder
12. Using the same FTP software, change the permissions:
config.inc.php - 0666
data/ folder - 0777
13. Open the browser and enter the following URL:
[ External links are visible to logged in users only ]
14. You will see the configuration page of Sitemap Generator
15. Fill in all options (if you want to change them)
16. Open the [ External links are visible to logged in users only ] URL
17. Click "Run generator" button to create sitemap

That's it.

This process is very similar to any other PHP script installation.

Thanks for your great explanation and support. Will you please help in clarifying the following:
 
1. Can I crawl the web several times after eliminating the Broken-links? How often can I run  the Crawling from the Sitemap-Generator?

2. I could not find public_html. However, the server has two types of documents: httpdocs and httpsdocs in the roots. So httpdocs must be the public one? Right?

3. How to submit a SiteMap to MSN and in which format (like Yahoo!s txt or Google)?

1. Yes, you can (and it's suggested to) re-generate sitemap after you fixed the broken links or your site has been updated (new URLs added).
2. Yes, it's httpdocs folder in your case
3. There is no official information on xml sitemap support for MSN, but it will help to use HTML sitemap created by Sitemap Generator to make indexing easier. Just add the link to html sitemap at some of your pages.

Guess what, Im getting 403 errors - access forbiden - also very difficult to read the error, having to press print screen, and then load graphic into graphics package??

All my Atributes are 777, not allowed to change

I think that this system is far to advanced for the novice webmaster and this should be made clear before purchasing. It's only a few $'s so most people would just bite the bullet but I'm lodging a complaint to both PayPal and anyone I can get to listem. Very disapointed.
