Sitemap Generator Forum

Hi,

Do I need to include the website root (mywebsitedotcom) and the default page (mywebsitedotcom/default.aspx) in the xml sitemap?  All my website's links reference actual webpages (e.g. somefolder/default.aspx) rather than just the folder for the folder's default webpage, and the sitemap generator has used these fully qualified webpages in the sitemap.  If I start the generator at mywebsitedotcom/default.aspx then the website root (mywebsitedotcom) is not included.  What would be the best practice for the website root and default page (aswell as the sub-folders)?
