Sitemap Generator Forum

Hi,

I have meta description tag enabled although when I changed my meta description on my site it did not change in the HTML Site Map view after I ran the generator again. I have actually ran it many time since and I get the same old meta description. Also having this enable does it include anything in the sitemap that the search engines use?

Second item: Can you explain what enable last-mod for "not parsed" URLs does?

Hello,

1. that option doesn't affect xml sitemap - only html and ror sitemaps may include it.

2. that setting tells generator to fetch http headers for pages matching "Do not parse" setting, so that it can include date/time in xml sitemap for those URLs.
