Map created but pages not found by Bot Simulator tool.

Hi,

I have created a sitemap of the site [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]. This site has a dynamic asp online store wihtin its directories. Each product and page is listed within the map and the map is listed in the root directory of the store. However using the robot simulator tool at https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/se-bot-simulator.html only six pages are listed... question is why are no further pages listed?

Does this tool only work on a single directory or should it drill down looking for al .htm, .asp .php pages?

Many thanks for any assistance on this.

Hello Sandy,

the SE Bots Simulator tool displays only the links found on the particular page specified, it doesn't crawl the nested pages.
