Hi All,

a new Generator release: v1.08

2005-07-31 v1.08

   * generator pages access can be restricted (the login and password is defined at configuration page)
   * minor improvements and fixes

When I installed the 1.08 and entered a user name and a password, I can not log in again it give the message  Forbidden

doesn't it show the login box with username/password?
(as a temporarily solution you can empty the "xs_login" and "xs_password" settings in config.inc.php manually to disable authentication.)

It shows the login box with username/password and bottom of index.php
and I emptied the  "xs_login" and "xs_password" as you said. it works .
But if I entered a user name and a password it doesnt allow access to any page and give Forbidden

oh, I believe you have php under IIS, right? It has a problem with authentication support in most configurations. My suggestion is to place your generator instance in some "secret" folder, for instance "yourdomain.com/kcdeapdkbns/" instead of "yourdomain.com/generator/" - that would be a kind of password for you
