Can only access configuration page, all other pages are blocked?

I set up my config page and now everytime I try to access any other pages like crawling, it shows me the login page. Once i login I get booted to the config page, and that's it. Why doesn't it work?

I fixed this by manually deleting the username and password values in the config.inc.php
