Sitemap Generator Forum

Hi to you all guys
I installed your standalone sitemap generator, unlimited edition.
I configured it following your guide, I put it inside a folder called "generator", set the subfolder data with 777 permission.
I created the two files ror.xml and sitemap.xml in the root of the website and set 666 permission to both them.
Noe when i save the configuration i receive this errors:

An error occured

Sitemap file is not writable: http://www.figlidigaucci.eu/generator/sitemap.xml
Sitemap file is not writable: http://www.figlidigaucci.eu/generator/data/sitemap.html
Sitemap file is not writable: http://www.figlidigaucci.eu/generator/data/sitemap2.html
Sitemap file is not writable: http://www.figlidigaucci.eu/generator/data/sitemap3.html
Sitemap file is not writable: http://www.figlidigaucci.eu/generator/data/sitemap4.html

I checked all the files permissions are they are set regularly as described in your guide.
so what's the problem now? The txt urlist.txt is created fine only theese xml files are not well created.... and this is no good.
please help me.

please make sure that "Save sitemap to" setting contains the *path* to sitemap.xml file, NOT the URL. i.e. it should normally look like /path/to/public_html/sitemap.xml instead of [ External links are visible to logged in users only ]

does exist a way to make the tool scan for image files too?
So they can be included in the sitemap list too.

search engines will find your images anyway since they are linked from your pages that are included in sitemap.
