Sitemap.html: my customized template is not used
« on: November 25, 2009, 10:38:07 AM »
Hi,

I want to get the sitemap.html in my website layout.
But the template I have changed, the file sitemap_tpl.html, is not used.

Plus, the permissions are set to 666 by default, that means that the file cannot be opened in a browser.

Is there a slution for this maybe?

Best regards,
xipe

Hello,

after changing generator/pages/mods/sitemap_tpl.html file you should regenerate sitemap so that it is applied to your sitemap.

Dear Oleg,

Thank you for your reply.
It works now, after I have put the file in the mods folder.
I had put it in the wrong folder, one level higher.

But... still the permissions are set to 666, like sitemap.xml, ror.txt, urllist.txt
And the page cannot be opened in a browser.
How can the right permissions (755, I think?) automatically be assigned to sitemap.html?

Best regards,
Robert

Hello,

what is the URL that is not opened in browser for you?

Hi Oleg,

The sitemap.html gets 666 by default, when generated.

I solved this by stripping the template file and including it in another page.

Best regards,
Robert

btw, why is it that the copyright notice has to be in it? When you pay for a program, this is not common practice, as far as I know.
