Sitemap Generator Forum

Hello,
I have tried the configuration steps mentioned to get my sitemap up and running. But, after the crawling has finished, the sitemap.xml file throws an error "not found" on the browser.
After some research, i found that the sitemap.xml file gets compressed to a xml.gz extension.

Moreover, all my pages are not getting indexed as well. Are both these errors related?

Please help. I have to get this up and running asap..

you should manually create empty sitemap.xml file, upload it to domain root and assign 0666 permissions to it prior to creating sitemap. Make sure that you completed all installation steps: https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/howto-install.html
