I have uploaded the files, followed the directions, setup the permissions correctly and ran the software once, after an hour or more I get this; it just hanges there.

Can I assume I need to increase the memory and time allowed for processing within the php.ini file? I do not know how to do this, can you do this or do I have to get the hosting company to do this?
