Setting Link Depth

I do not want to include all the URLs in my sitemap due to the size and unimportance of some - is it possible to set the link depth?

Hello,

yes, there is a special setting called "Maximum depth" on configuration pages.  You can also use "Exclude URLs" setting to customize crawling.
