doesn't save the config

where is the problem,
i update today but he doesn't update the config
i put 777 to data
i create config.inc.php and chmod 777
is missing some configuration from apache ?

Having the same Problem ,
why dont you post the solution  ?

I changed the full generator directory to 777  still the same Problem.

I solved the problem, found a post saying basically add .htaccess file to generator directory with RewriteEngine Off. In my root directory the .htaccess must be affecting the sitemap generator.
