E-Mail Notification

After filling in my own email address in the email notification section I find after I complete a crawl there is no email notification in my email box?

Can anybody tell me why this is so?

Also can anybody confirm the ping search engines option works when checked?

Hello,

possibly your server blocks sending emails from the scripts. Search engines pinging will be successful though since it's done via http request and as long as crawler is working then http requests are working too.
