Sitemap Generator Forum

Hi,

Do you know how to fix this error in our sitemap? I generated an xml
sitemap, then uploaded it as a file on our server. But, when I submitted
it to Google Webmaster Central, I get the following error report...

Error:
URL not allowed. This url is not allowed for a Sitemap at this location.
URL: [ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]

Homepage:
[ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]

Sitemap:
[ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]

can you provide a screenshot of the error you get in Google webmaster tools?

I'm sorry I don't have a camera, but I copied and pasted all the error info.
in my first post. Is there anything else you need?

There is nothing else in Google Webmaster's error report that I haven't already posted. What are you looking for?

Didn't you manually modify the xml sitemap? It seems like all entries are combined on a single line. Make sure that you save the sitemap on your computer (https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/download/www.weddinginvitationsandfavors.com/sitemap.xml ) and then upload it (without copy'n'paste the content of sitemap).
