sitemap_tpl.html not updating

I know I am missing something, but I am updating the sitemap_tpl.html  file and publishing to the server but none of the changes are being reflected in the live site map page. Any ideas?

Hello,

you will have to regenerate sitemap aftes that to apply changes.
