Sitemap Generator Forum

Hello,

One of my domains completed the crawl without any reported errors.  I can view the sitemap.html and the urllist.txt with no problem.

However, when I try to view the ror.xml or sitemap.xml I receive an error message. I can ftp and see the xml files no problem. What do I need to do to correct this problem?

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /generator/data/ror.xml on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

your sitemap URL is:
[ External links are visible to logged in users only ]
( not [ External links are visible to logged in users only ] )

Ok thanks, that is easy to fix.

Can the "Save Sitemap URL:" and "HTML Sitemap Filename" be in the generator/data folder?

Hello,

"Save Sitemap URL" must point to the domain root folder (since it's require to put xml sitemap in the topmost location), while HTML sitemap can be stored in data/ folder.
