Sitemap Generator Forum

The online site generator is mapping some pages twice.

Pages being duplicated include index pages in all directories (I solved this problem in the starting directory by closing the submitted URL with a forward slash however index pages in the sub-directories are still being mapped twice).
 
About 20 additional pages have been double-mapped. These pages are nested in a single second-level sub-directory and a single third-level sub-directory contained within.

Is the easiest solution for me to manually remove the duplicates from the XML version or is there a generator work-around of some sort?

Hello,

do you mean that *exaclty* the same URL is include in sitemap twice?
Or you have different links to the same page and they both are included in sitemap? (in this case you should modify your website code to avoid duplicate URLs)

I see that your homepage is include only once in sitemap.

yes the home page is the only page which is listed once but almost all the other pages are listed twice. Well for your information we are using Wordpress for our site. I need to know what could be the reason for other pages being mapped twice.

2.[ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]
3.[ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]
4.[ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]

Etc. Still Many more....
