Sitemap Generator Forum

Hi there. This is my first post on here, i have used th generator for 5 month with not problems but when i reached 25000 url i got that error , Any idea  it will be appreciated

Any idea why my generator is not working ?? Am im missing smth or is not working with larg dynamics websites ?

Hello,

it looks like your server configuration doesn't allow to run the script long enough to create full sitemap. Please try to increase memory_limit and max_execution_time settings in php configuration at your host (php.ini file) or contact hosting support regarding this.

Thats what hostgator told me :
PHP has been configured to use the following settings on our servers (cannot be changed): safe mode = off enable_dl = Off memory_limit = 64M MAXIMUM max_execution_time = 30 seconds MAXIMUM post_max_size = 64M MAXIMUM upload_max_filesize = 64M MAXIMUM max_input_time = 60 default_socket_timeout = 60 We will not be able to raise these limits any higher than this as it will cause servers to become overloaded and your account could be suspended for resource usage. If you want to have higher limits, we recommend a dedicated server.

Is any other way to make the generator works cause it doesnt make sense for me to get the dedicated server only for the sitemap generator.

HI Oleg. Im still waiting fro your reply, please if you can do smth to make it work let me know otherwise just tell me the xml-sitemap needs a dedicated server.
