Sitemap Generator Forum

i created my sitemap and can view it with the links provided by the generator interface, but my links are not appearing in Google or Yahoo after the site was crawled.

is there something else i am supposed to do?

Hello,

make sure that you submitted sitemaps to Google and Yahoo:
[ External links are visible to logged in users only ]
[ External links are visible to logged in users only ]

and note that it still takes some time to get indexed.

i submitted my sitemap to Google and received the following error:

GENERAL HTTP ERROR: 404 not found.

i found your response to this same error on the forum. you suggested that the writer create a blank Sitemap1 and Sitemap2 and regenerate. i did that, but received the same error message.
