Sitemap Generator Forum

Every time I go to crawl i get the following error: Error Opening Socket to .......

I tried adding in the IPAddress in the advanced section, and still no luck. I know I have it configured correctly, so I think my hosting provider may be doing something.

Is it using CURL? Is it just making a request on port 80? What do I need to ask my hosting provider to see if the site is capable of running it? I'm thinking it could be a firewall thing.

Sitemap generator uses fsockopen function for connections by default, but you can enable CURL by setting "xs_usecurl" to "1" in config.inc.php file.
