Hello,

I understand that loc tags (url's) must be encoded. I'm curious, are these url's decoded by googlebot?

As an example:

<url>
       <loc>[ External links are visible to forum administrators only ]</loc>
       <priority>0.32</priority>
       <changefreq>daily</changefreq>
       <lastmod>2008-11-20T16:25:59+00:00</lastmod> 
  </url>

When I copy and paste the loc url into a browser, it fails. The & is required by PHP.

yes, sure - Google will "urldecode" the links in xml sitemap.
